Welcome to J.W Vines Medical Foundation!

The J.W Vines Foundation Inc. is a critical link in the effort to increase the number and diversity of health care professionals in the region of Southern California known as the Inland Empire. Our efforts assist in filling the void of underrepresented health care providers who can bring a much needed service to those underserved in the Inland Empire. The foundation works with the James Wesley Vines Jr. MD Medical Society (Vine Medical Society), a 501 c 6, the Inland affiliate of the National Medical Association. The Vines Medical Society is a cadre of African American physicians practicing in the Inland Empire that provide their time, talent and treasury in the form of human power, contributions and support to the foundation.

There are 153 members listed on the Vines Roster. In addition to the strength of its own membership, the Vines Medical Society has a history of working with other organizations including the California Medical Association, The African American Health Institute, The California Endowment, Kaiser Permanente, University of California, Riverside Undergraduate and Medical School, Network of Ethnic Physician Organizations, The Charles R. Drew Medical Society, Golden State Medical Society and the National Medical Society and local Hispanic Medical Organizations.
